About
Having spent six years as the head of the Department of Information Systems, the Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University, I have now moved to be the director of Cairo University Innovation Support and Patent Registration Facilitation Office (the very long title is not my choice!). I also hold the Cairo University Chair of Innovation. I hold a BSc in Management Sciences (maxima cum laude) a position as the top of the class, from the Sadat Academy for Management Sciences, Cairo. I also hold a Master’s degree in Systems Analysis and Design, from the City University, London, a PhD in Information Systems Engineering from Brunel University, UK, a BA in Architecture from the University of Greenwich, UK and finally a Master in Advanced Architecture Studies from the University of London. I worked as a full time faculty member for over 15 years in UK universities. My research interests lie in the area of information systems requirements engineering, systems architecting and evaluation and the strategic planning of information systems.
